When you’re torching calories on the road or trail, it’s necessary to take snack breaks to avoid bonking. You know that dreaded feeling: You’re halfway up a hill, and you’ve run out of gas. The trick is to top off your tank with fuel before you stall out on the side of the road. Here, we’ve rounded up 30 snacks packed with carbohydrates and protein that can travel with you.


I have been doing a lot of endurance riding recently and whilst out cycling, I thought it would be a good idea to show you a couple of things I have started to do, in order to avoid the bonk or hitting the wall when out doing my endurance training. These have helped me massively during bike rides and to also still feel good after rides.
